2027年版の布のカレンダーができました。
モチーフはもこもこな羊さん。
一列に並んだいろんな種類のモコモコの羊さんたちを初めて見たウールシェッド。
羊さんたちの紹介が終わるとさっき並んでいた羊さんたちがとことこと歩いて来て、自由に触れて良いですよと。
撫でてみると見た目とは違ってなんだかゴワゴワな感触。でも立派なモコモコの中にスッと指を入れてみるとほんのりあたたかく、指だけでなくなんだか気持ちもほわぁ〜っとなりました。
羊さんの優しさなのか、指を入れている間、全く動かずその温もりをわけてくれてました。
2027年、そんな優しさやぬくもりがいろんなところに届きますよう。
カレンダーとして役目を終えた後はキッチンクロスにしたり、エコバッグなどに作り変えたりと再利用してもらえたら嬉しいです。使いながら当時のことを思い出す「ふっ」とした時間もお楽しみください。

Tea towel calendar for 2027
Fluffy sheep
are the motifs of this design.
It was my first time meeting a variety of very fluffy sheep, all lined up at the wool sheds in Brisbane.
After being introduced to us, they slowly walked towards the audience, letting us pad them.
I was surprised by how greasy their wool felt compared to how fluffy it looked. But once I put my fingers in between the wool, it was soooo soft and warm.
They quietly shared the warmth of their wool with us, staying so gentle and still while I enjoyed the warmth.
I hope that the warmth and gentleness I felt from them will reach you, too, through mokomoko in 2027
